Together - we can make this happen and clean up PLASTIC FROM our oceans, shores and waterways!
We’ve joined forces with Seven Clean Seas! Their crew are turning the tide on our oceans health, recovering plastic, and helping to preserve marine environments.
We always use aluminium, keeping plastic bottles off our shelves.
In Australia, 75% of all beverage aluminium (ie. cans) are collected for recycling. Unlike plastic which can only be recycled 1-3 times before degrading and sent to landfill, aluminium is infinitely recyclable. While aluminium is not perfect, it has a significantly stronger chance for recovery and being turned into something new and valuable.²
We’ve called in the Plastic Collective
In an effort to not only remove plastic from our oceans, we are also committing to removing plastic from the entire Lo Bros brand. We have partnered with Plastic Collective, a leading global player creating circular economies for plastic.
Together we will measure Lo Bros plastic footprint, plastic that is likely to enter the environment, and plastic that is likely to remain unrecycled. This also includes reviewing activities to mitigate our plastic use, such as phasing out all avoidable plastic. Plus, we will address all unavoidable plastic by partnering with projects to collect and recycle plastic, becoming a net zero plastic brand.
